As our 60th anniversary year, comes to a close,
everyone involved at the Pomegranate is
delighted that 2009 has been so successful for
us. Despite the economic downturn the theatre
has held its own in a competitive market and
attracted varied audiences to a wide range of
productions.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us, and look forward to welcoming patrons old and new in 2010.
Special thanks go to the dedicated Chesterfield Theatre Friends Group who, despite limited numbers and less than ideal working conditions, have managed to create order and a master archive from the eclectic selection of flyers posters and programmes previously kept in the corridor behind the bar! Not only that, the Friends fundraising activities this year (including a Fun Run and a Historical Fashion Show) have provided the theatre with booster seats and a flat screen.
