This year’s pantomime is the much-loved story of Cinderella. Down on her luck and cursed with evil stepsisters, Cinderella’s destiny is in the hands of her best friend Buttons, the magic of a Fairy Godmother and a clock that strikes midnight.
With a Fairy Godmother’s watchfulness and a wishful wand Cinderella’s dreams are in good hands this Christmas with much-loved CBeebies Katrina Bryan stepping into the role of the iconic Fairy Godmother in the Winding Wheel Theatre’s timeless pantomime!
Well-known for her roles on the popular CBeebies channel, Katrina has played Nina in the award-winning series Nina and the Neurons and Alice in the hit show Molly & Mack. She has also appeared in the seasonal CBeebies Christmas shows including Thumbelina, The Nutcracker, A Christmas Carol, Peter Pan, and Strictly Cinderella.
Katrina plays social worker Eloise in Emmerdale, with other TV credits including Taggart, Fried and Sea of Souls. She has starred in many pantomimes across the UK, appeared at the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh, in Local Hero and Death of a Salesman, and numerous other theatre productions across the country.
Christmas is Katrina’s favourite time of the year, and she is thrilled to be joining the cast of Cinderella in Chesterfield.
